A token can only leave its home base when you roll a 6. Rolling a 6 also grants you an extra turn. If you have no tokens on the board and roll a 1–5, your turn passes to the next player.
Tokens move clockwise around the board the number of squares shown on the dice. If the exact number needed to reach home cannot be rolled, the token stands still and your turn ends.
Landing on an opponent's token sends it back to their home base. You also receive a bonus roll when you capture. Tokens on safe squares (marked with a star) cannot be captured.
Eight marked squares on the board are safe zones. Any token resting on a safe square is immune from capture, regardless of how many opponents land on the same square.
A token reaches home by entering the central column and advancing to the final square with an exact roll. The first player to get all four tokens home wins the pot. In tournament mode, points are awarded for each token brought home before the game ends.
Having all four tokens in different positions gives you options on every roll. Keeping everything in home base waiting for a 6 leaves you with nothing to work with on most turns.
When an opponent has a fast-advancing token, park one of yours on a safe square directly in their path. They can't capture you and you control the key square.
